Dr. Bridges has served as associate superintendent of ECPS for over four years.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, a master’s degree in business administration from Meredith College, teacher certification from St. Augustine’s College, a master’s degree in school administration and a doctorate degree in educational research and leadership from North Carolina State University.
"It is with pride and honor that I have accepted the position as superintendent of Edgecombe County Public Schools. I look forward to continuing my work with the Board of Education, students, staff, and the community,” said Bridges.
“I am excited to work with a fabulous staff of educators in Edgecombe County Public Schools. I am certain that with our continued dedication and support the students of ECPS will soar to new heights,” added Bridges.
