Classified employees desiring to move from their current assignment to a vacant position in the district should submit a written request for a transfer to the
Veronica Stilley. Resumes can be included with the request. The request should indicate the position and/or school being sought, reason for requesting the transfer, and qualifications for the position.
Employees should contact the principal of the school(s) they are interested in transferring to as vacancies are posted (monitor the
job opportunities through the district website often), as well as sharing their desire to transfer with their current principal. The Superintendent has final approval of all transfers. If the transfer request is approved, the employee and principals involved will be promptly notified.
At times, it is necessary for in-voluntary transfers to occur. The Superintendent has the responsibility to transfer employees in accordance with course requirements, fluctuating enrollments, allotments, and general welfare of the school system. Employees being transferred for these reasons will be promptly notified.
