Elected state officers are eligible to run for national officer positions during the National Junior Beta Convention to be held Forth Worth, Texas in June.
“I am excited about serving others through my role as Elementary Vice President. I am also looking forward to representing Edgecombe County at the National Convention this summer,” said Smith.
The National Beta Club is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America. The purpose of the club is to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.
