According to West Edgecombe Middle School Principal Dr. Kelsey Ballard who nominated her for this award, Schultz is knowledgeable in many area and always a team player.
"We have had many new EC enrollments and several out of state EC enrollments. Ms. Schultz has only been a phone call away and she has quickly made her way to the school to help. She has faxed records requests, called schools, parents and former teachers to hunt down information needed for students. She constantly goes above and beyond for students and staff," said Ballard.
"Her kindness and compassion do not go unnoticed. We couldn’t have made it over the past few opening weeks of school without her," added Ballard.
