According to W. A. Pattillo Principal Lauren Lampron, Lauchert is dedicated to the school and displays a strong sense of personal commitment to the students and community.
“I am greatly impressed with her unique ability to form relationships with students and adults while maintaining rigorous expectations,” said Lampron.
“Ms. Lauchert is an exemplary educator because she is an exemplary individual. She is a kind, driven, honest individual who deserves to be celebrated for her dedication to children’s access to education,” added Lampron.
ECPS strives to provide comprehensive support to its beginning teachers. This includes direct support at the school-level with a site-based mentor as well as a district mentor. Beginning teachers also actively participate in regularly scheduled “Teacher Talk” sessions, which provide additional training relevant to beginning teachers throughout the school year.
“The district highly values beginning teachers and the role they play in educating our students,” said Kelly Jones, ECPS Coordinator of Teacher Support Programs.
