Martin Millennium Academy students attend National Junior Beta Convention

At the convention, over 14,000 third through eighth grade students from across the country were able to showcase their talents and academic abilities, as well as interact with fellow beta members to enhance leadership skills and share service ideas.

 

Brody Hoke placed fifth in the Elementary Spelling competition. He also competed in the Elementary Book Battle competition along with Mallory Bryant and Kahrie Flowers.

 

Elijah Sellers, Chaplain of North Carolina’s Junior Beta Club, also attended and competed for the title of National Junior Beta Club Chaplain.

 

The National Beta Club is the largest nonprofit, educational youth organization in America. The purpose of the club is to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.
