Eason was recognized for her demonstrated love of children and dedication to delivering high-quality educational services to students through community outreach, tutoring sessions, and mentoring activities.
“Despite her own displacement from her home after the flood, Ms. Eason was one of the leading individuals to make sure students were receiving care, clothes, food, and transportation to and from school,” said Hillary Boutwell, G.W. Bulluck School Principal.
“Ms. Eason deserves this award not only for the competence she shows in her area of expertise, but also because she has learned to use her skills and patience in such an effective and friendly manner that she has dramatically improved the educational experience for everyone at G.W. Bulluck Elementary School,” added Boutwell.
