According to Lauren Lampron, Pattillo Middle School principal, La Vignette is an outstanding leader in his classroom and in the school.
“In addition to serving as the chair of the School Improvement Team and leading the school’s elective team, Mr. La Vignette has restructured the entire master schedule to include the implementation of a new lunch schedule initiative which helps students take more ownership of their own educational experiences,” said Lampron.
Mr. La Vignette also teaches eighth-grade math during lunch tutoring sessions, in addition to hosting Glee Club, Choir, and Drum Circle. Before school and during lunch periods, he holds workshops for students who are interested in perfecting the craft of their instruments.
“He is a dedicated member of the Pattillo school family and the Tarboro community,” added Lampron.
