Update - October 13, 2020

This Friday, October 16th is a Teacher Workday. There will be no school, live instruction or assignments on Friday. Monday, October 19th is a Remote Learning Day, which means there will be some independent assignments to be completed at home.

Because of Friday’s workday, there will be no meal delivery service on Friday. Food will be delivered tomorrow, which will include meals for 5 days. Normal meal delivery service will resume on Wednesday, October 21st.

At our School  Board Meeting held last evening, our board voted to allow our elementary students to return to school for face to face instruction beginning Thursday, November 5th.  The information you provided in your Family Choice Survey is what we are using for planning purposes. Students who selected to continue with virtual instruction will do so.

Our goal is to allow students to be in school Tuesday through Friday each week, if we can do so with proper social distancing. Mondays will be reserved for deep cleaning of classrooms. If we end up with more students selecting to return to school than we can safely bring back at one time, we will need to go on an alternating days schedule. Stay tuned for more information from your child’s school.

If you have not completed the survey for your elementary student, please do so before this Friday. If you do not complete it, we will assume your student will continue with remote /virtual learning. If you need to change your response, please contact your child’s teacher before Friday.

In the coming days, we will send out a return to school interest form for our middle and high school students.

We thank you for your patience as we work to support  our students, staff, and community during these difficult times.
