NC Students Are Getting READY
Many changes came to North Carolina public schools in the Fall 2012. NCDPI's READY Initiative is centered around educators being prepared for new standards and a new accountability model that will, in turn, prepare students to graduate and succeed in college and their careers. As part of this Initiative, NCDPI asked students across North Carolina to show them what being READY means to them.
 
 
NEW:  The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) provided much information regarding the increase in rigor in our standards and Accountability model during the 2012-13 school year - as well as the resulting drop in test scores that occurred when the results were released across the state of North Carolina on November 7, 2013.  Watch NCDPI's view here.
