We are devastated to learn that Susan Hoke, our Public Information Officer, passed away.
Susan was an essential part of the Edgecombe County Public Schools family for many years. Through her work, her leadership, and her unwavering dedication, she helped tell the story of our schools and worked tirelessly to make our district and community even better. Her bright smile, kind spirit, and shining light left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of working alongside her.
Susan’s legacy will continue to live on through the relationships she built, the work she championed, and the countless lives she touched. She will forever remain in our hearts.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Susan’s family, friends, and loved ones as we honor her service, her legacy, and the example she set for us all.
In remembrance, we invite staff, community members, and friends to leave a note, card, or photo in remembrance of Susan. These items will be carefully collected and shared with her family as a reflection of the love, respect, and gratitude we hold for her and the impact she made.
