Hello Stocks Families,
It's Tiffany Mercer, your proud principal with 3 important announcements.
Starting tomorrow, October 18, 2024, anyone picking up scholars early from school must present a photo ID. This includes parents, guardians, aunts, uncles—anyone authorized to pick up your child. Please ensure that the individual is listed in our database as an authorized person for pick-up to avoid any delays.
Additionally, as a fun reminder, scholars can wear hats tomorrow for $1 as part of our fundraiser!
And we are thrilled to announce that our Book Fair also begins tomorrow. We can’t wait for our scholars to dive into the wonderful world of books and start building their own home libraries!
Thank you for your cooperation and support as we continue to create a safe and exciting environment for our scholars.

Hello Stocks Families, Here are two important messages for the week:
First, Stocks Elementary School will be conducting a lockdown drill this week. These drills are a critical part of our safety protocol and help ensure that both students and staff know exactly what to do in the unlikely event of an emergency. While we hope to never use these procedures, practicing them is essential for the safety and well-being of our school community. Please reassure your child that the drill is just practice and nothing to be alarmed about. Your support in helping our scholars understand the importance of these drills is greatly appreciated.
Secondly, progress reports will be sent home on Friday, September 20th. Progress reports are an important tool in keeping you informed of your child’s academic performance and growth. They provide insight into areas of strength as well as any areas where additional support may be needed. Please review these reports carefully and feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you for your continued support in making Stocks Elementary a safe and thriving learning environment. Together, we can ensure both academic and personal growth for our scholars.
If you have any questions regarding the lockdown drill or progress reports, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
