O'Meara named Phillips Middle School Principal

 

O'Meara's first teaching experience was as a middle school math teacher in West Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer. She later joined Teach for America and taught at Warren County High School for four years. She received a bachelor's degree in French and International Relations from State University of New York at Geneseo. She obtained as master's degree in school administration from North Carolina State University.

"I am ecstatic to have the privilege to serve at Phillips Middle School. Partnering with community will be crucial as we drive the Innovation Zone feeder pattern towards our vision of ensuring that every student receives what they need to explore, identify and pursue their life's purpose. This is a true honor and I am excited to give my everything to the students and team at Phillips," said O'Meara.
