EDGE Academy of Health Sciences
Edgecombe County Public Schools in collaboration with Edgecombe Community College will open the EDGE Academy of Health Sciences in the fall of 2023. The EDGE Academy of Health Sciences will combine academics and health science related fields to provide students opportunities to acquire credentials and certifications in pursuit of an Associate in Applied Science degree from Edgecombe Community College.
All 8th and 9th grade students in the Edgecombe County Public School service area will be eligible to apply for enrollment with priority being given to the target populations to be served. EDGE Academy of Health Sciences will consist of a diverse student population representative of the racial, economic, and geographic demographics of the ECPS system.
